Shipping Policy

1. Service Area

Kitaaby currently provides pickup and delivery services within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and surrounding areas. We plan to expand to other cities in the future. Please check our website for updates on service availability in your area.

2. Pickup Service

Suppliers can request a home pickup through our website. A pickup fee applies, which covers the cost of sending a driver or courier to collect the books from your address. The current pickup fee is displayed on the pickup request form. Books are transported to our warehouse for inspection, grading, and listing.

3. Delivery Service

Customers receive books via courier delivery to their specified address. A delivery fee applies to all orders, including giveaway (free) books. The delivery fee is displayed at checkout and on the order detail page. Delivery is typically completed within 2-5 business days within Riyadh.

4. Courier Methods

We use third-party courier services and human drivers for both pickup and delivery. When a human driver is assigned, the driver name, vehicle plate number, and contact number will be shared with you via email and on your order or pickup detail page. Tracking numbers, where available, are also shared.

5. Tracking and Updates

Shipment status updates (Booked, In Transit, Delivered) are sent to your email and displayed on your order or pickup detail page. You can track your shipment status by logging into your Kitaaby account at any time.

6. Failed or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address or the recipient being unavailable, we will contact you to arrange a second delivery attempt. Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery. If delivery cannot be completed after two attempts, the order may be cancelled and a refund issued subject to our refund policy.
